# ClipPilot

> Turn your product video into a vertical social clip with captions, plus written copy for five platforms.

ClipPilot takes the video already sitting in Igloo and produces a social content pack:
a vertical clip formatted for phones, and written copy tailored to each platform.

<Warning>
  ClipPilot does not post for you. There is no TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest,
  or Facebook connection. You download the finished clip and upload it yourself. This
  is a platform limitation, not a setting you can turn on.
</Warning>

## What you get

Copy is written separately for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, and
Facebook, because a caption that lands on TikTok reads badly on Pinterest.

You choose the visual output:

<CardGroup cols={2}>
  <Card title="Vertical video" icon="mobile-screen">
    Your footage centred in a 9:16 frame, with a blurred version of your own video
    filling the space above and below. Optional burned in captions.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Slide images" icon="image">
    Still slides with a headline over a frame from your video. Useful for carousels and
    for Pinterest.
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

You can produce either, or both.

## Captions

Captions come from the transcript ContentPilot already made, so they match what you
actually said. Burning them into the video matters more than it sounds: most social
video is watched with the sound off.

Toggling captions on and off does not re-render from scratch. Guino keeps the captioned
and uncaptioned versions separately, so switching between them is quick and you never
get the wrong one.

## Headline styling on slides

For slide images you can set the font, the placement, and whether the headline is
uppercase. The preview in your browser and the final image use the same settings, so
what you see is what downloads.

## Clip length

<Note>
  ClipPilot uses the first **3 minutes** of your source video. A social clip is never a
  full product review, and this keeps the export fast enough to run while you wait. If
  your best moment sits later than three minutes in, trim the video before uploading it,
  or upload a shorter cut specifically for ClipPilot.
</Note>

## Frame rate and quality

The export follows your footage. If you filmed at 60 frames per second, you get 60
frames per second out. Guino does not force everything down to a lower rate, and it does
not invent frames to pad a slower source up.

## Suggested workflow

<Steps>
  <Step title="Run ContentPilot first">
    ClipPilot reads the transcript ContentPilot produced. Running it first is what makes
    captions possible.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open ClipPilot and pick the product">
    It lists what is already in Igloo. Nothing to re-upload.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose your outputs and generate">
    Pick video, slides, or both, and whether you want captions burned in.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Download and post">
    Grab the clip and the per platform copy, then upload to each platform yourself.
    Paste the matching copy rather than reusing one caption everywhere.
  </Step>
</Steps>
